FREE TAX CLINIC

A Free Service for Women & Their Families

 

Filing your taxes each year is mandatory to receive benefits such as the Canada Child Benefit, GST rebates, and Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH).

Womanspace offers a free tax preparation service to women and their families through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP).

 

Eligibility:

1 person $40,000

2 people $55,000

Each dependent add $5000

Please note that we are not tax professionals, and we can’t file taxes for small businesses, for the self-employed, for the deceased, or for those with complex tax situations or investment incomes.

 

Our tax services are currently available in person Wednesday and Thursday afternoons 1 PM -3 PM walk in only. Phone appointments are available.
