FREE TAX CLINIC

A Free Service for Women & Their Families

 

Filing your taxes each year is mandatory to receive benefits such as the Canada Child Benefit, GST rebates, and Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH).

Womanspace offers a free tax preparation service to women and their families through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP).

 

Family Eligibility:

1 person $40,000

2 people $55,000

3 people $60,000

4 people $65,000

5 people $70,000

More than 5 people$70,000, plus $5,000 for each additional person

 

Please note that we are not tax professionals, and we can’t file taxes for small businesses, for the self-employed, for the deceased, or for those with complex tax situations or investment incomes.

 

Our tax services are currently available in person Wednesday and Thursday afternoons 1-3. Phone appointments and one on one appointments are available Thursday mornings .
