VOLUNTEERS

We are always looking for volunteers to help with income tax preparation throughout the year. Time commitment would be one (or more if desired) 3 - hour shift per month.

 

Qualifications required:

• Strong interpersonal skills; empathetic; non-judgmental

• General understanding of the Canadian income tax system

• Basic computer skills and experience with preparing tax returns electronically; training with the UFile software used by the CVITP will be provided

• Volunteers will need to register with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program CVITP
